PRB-02 Sealed Box Notes from a Shrink-Seam Desk

Late shift again. The shrink-seam desk is small, a flat lamp, a soft cloth, and the same box I keep circling back to. Today it is the English PREMIUM BOOSTER -ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST vol.2- [PRB-02]. I am writing this for myself and anyone who cares about the seam, not the chase.

Where the wrap meets itself on a PRB-02 box tends to run along one of the long edges, not the short ones. That seam should sit flat against the cardboard, no tunneling, no catching when a finger runs across it. A clean seam is the first thing I look at before I read anything else on the box. A wrinkled seam does not tell me what is inside, but it does tell me how the wrapper was applied.

The object on the desk

The object is a sealed booster box for PRB-02. The English product page for the set lists a 3 October 2025 release, contents described as 129 plus 30 card types, and a rarity line that includes Secret Rare x8 alongside DON!! Card x30. The page also says every pack contains at least one SR card. I am noting those lines because they are the numbers I write on the box corner when I file it on the shelf, not because they are a promise from this desk.

Storage here is simple. Upright, away from a window, room temperature, and away from any surface that has ever held a drink. I do not stack heavy boxes on top of a PRB-02. The shrink does most of the protection work, but a long flat under a stack will press a line into the wrap that looks worse than it is.

What this desk will not claim

I will not guess at a pack count inside the box. I will not guess at a print run. I will not call a seam perfect or call a box mint based on a single photo. I also will not grade, trim, or alter the wrap to make a seam look better. If a seal has to be explained, it is already the wrong seal.

Labels and codes worth a glance

The set code on the box should read PRB-02 in the same place the English page uses it. The product code, the bar code block, and the small legal lines are where I check that the wrapper has not slid over the print. If those marks are partly hidden under the seam, that is a note, not a verdict.

Manners on this desk

I do not open sealed product on this desk. I do not weigh it, sniff it, or hold a light behind it. Other desks on the floor handle pulls and case breaks. This desk handles the seam, the label, and the shelf. If a box leaves this desk, it leaves sealed.

One specific observation

The seam on the box I am looking at sits closer to the side panel than to the front art. On this run, that is the side I would point a camera at first if I had to document one edge.
